Beautiful Emotions

Imagine ' you climb a 500 feet high cliff for a heart-throbbing experience of bungee jumping. You plan out for three months for this thrill, just to feel a surge of emotions pass through your entire body, so when you reach there at the height of 500 feet you are ready to undergo the 'bring it on man' excitement, you tie a rope around your waist and slowly walk towards the end of the cliff, and with a leap of faith, you jump off the cliff. Next what happens can be imagined by all but what if you don't feel a damn thing, not a tiny bit of jolting sensation. Why? because you are not afraid of anything, there is an utter absence of fear in your life. It sounds boring, isn't it?.

Fear is a beautiful emotion, but not everyone can understand it.  Like other emotions, the source of its origin is ambiguous to many. When you allow it to empower you then it can ruin a life. Fear can lead towards excitement, on the other hand, it can also keep you safe, it also has the potential to drive you towards your goals but when you don't understand your own fears then you may end up in a disaster. It is important to recognize the source of your emotions and cope with them if someone is unable to deal with the origin of an experience that haunts him most, then it won't just cause endless suffering to that person but he might end up passing his own fears to his next generation.

When parents ask their kids to learn from their mistakes then, without thinking if it is possible or not, they are asking their kids to live their own fears. It is important to remember the possibility of an action having different reactions. Also, when parents assume that a particular habit or behavior will ruin their child's future, then again they are passing on their fears without realizing that why did their child chooses or denied doing a particular task. Moreover, when on one hand some parents ask their kids to live their fear, without even arguing, then, on the other hand, without giving a second thought they dismiss their child's worst fears, fear of darkness or fear of insects or even fear of performing on stage. Like I said when you allow your fears to rule you then your they have the potential to ruin your life, passing on your own trial and error experiences makes you pass on your own fears, agitations that you have still not overcome need your understanding, and to do so you have to communicate with your inner self.
Fear is just an emotion, the real things are feelings associated with it. Fear is an amalgamation of embarrassment, insecurity, pain, unwantedness, and much more, you need to find the elements that you felt when you went through this emotional phase. Question it, paraphrase while having communication with your inner self, be empathetic and nonjudgemental, only then you can overcome it or allow it to co-exist at acceptable terms.
Don't pass your experience to your young ones, pass the ability to deals with whatever comes in their life. Pass on the beauty of happiness, fear, anger, and pain, pass on the propensity to handle them all.

Rational Belief

Spirituality is a term with sundry essence and there are many ways to comprehend it, people like me prefer to hinge on both scientific approaches as well as the system of belief. I need facts to support my abstract ideas, I cannot believe in ‘does and don’ts’ if I can’t relate to them. Hence, recently someone shared an article on Solar Eclipse and it immediately diverted my attention towards the scientific and spiritual facts behind it. As a result, I read articles that could give me information on the scientific relation of a solar eclipse with our body and mind. Well, firstly I would say that being a procrastinator I am still looking for more in-depth knowledge and secondly the knowledge I gained so far gave me a rough idea about how it may work.

When a solar eclipse occurs it brings a huge change in our circadian rhythms. I read in Wikipedia that Although circadian rhythms tend to be synchronized with cycles of light and dark, other factors - such as ambient temperature, meal times, stress, and exercise - can influence the timing as well. This could be a reason, apart from harmful rays, that it is suggested to avoid eating, drinking, or sleeping during this time. This means that eclipses change the natural cycle of day and night therefore it may denote a time for a change, both internally and externally.

Moreover, circadian rhythms are controlled by our pineal gland, which is a small, pea-shaped gland in the brain. The pineal gland is said to be related to the third eye, the Ajna chakra. This is the central point of intuition, insight, and our sixth sense. It is a bridge between our rational mind and hidden aspirations. In many mythologies, the sun being a symbol of consciousness reflects life or creative powers whereas moon on the other hand being a symbol of subconscious projects upon intuition, emotions, and hidden desires. If you take in other words Sun is the source of light, it signifies things that society accepts, things that we do with our conscious mind however moon epitomizes our emotional inner world and unknown wishes, things our society finds questionable so they submerge into our subconscious and unconscious. Among both the external and internal factors lies our mother earth who represents life, groundedness, potentiality, and stability.

Additionally, when a solar eclipse occurs, it magnifies changes that are mostly external and during an eclipse, our paths of the inner world and outer world confront with each other. This could be a time when we can reform our third eye as our pineal gland can witness both central and peripheral sways. This confrontation opens a portal towards reflection, this is the time when you can find your true-self by regulating your third eye. Meditation allows our third eye to rationally focus on our obscured potentials and overlooked passion which may bring prosperous change in our lives. A solar eclipse allows us to look inside whereas the lunar eclipse allows us to identify the outer world and its influence on us. Tomorrow is another day when our mother earth will witness a solar eclipse, tomorrow a new portal will be open for us, tomorrow lets allow our third eye to dig deep so that tomorrow we can have a probability of new prospects.

The MO of Meditation

When I was younger, I had my ways to explore life and learn from it. At that time I did not believe in spiritual healing, if an elderly would talk to me about the divine then I would shut them out instantly but now the more I am growing the more I am finding myself in the path of self-realization and spirituality. Of-course! My way is not the way I was told to follow, it never was but yet there is one thing now that I do more often, I breathe more often, I meditate more often.

This entire thing makes me wonder what stops people from meditating, what stopped me from meditating and I guess the answer is not the idea of meditation or spirituality but it's the old school of how to do it.

Here is the thing! no one can find spirituality until and unless they know what are their healing zones. It could be gardening or music, creating art or food and if you dig deeper then you may also find tiny things like fascination and love for colors. The only important thing is that whatever it is, it's only for you, something that rejuvenates you and reaches out to you as a meaning, which opens the door for the butterfly effect.

So whats the MO of finding your happy zone, the answer is simple how can one find one's eternal strength if they lack self-awareness.

The cornerstone of spiritualism is finding your true self. Once you know yourself, you will become more confident, you will understand your purpose, and you will begin making a bigger impact in your own world. Let's try this-

Start with a freshness within, find a spot in your home which gives you a positive aura then make it a silent zone and sit down quietly in that spiritual spot. Now close your eyes and breathe gently if you want then you can lie down too, just let your mind relax. Next, think about all the moments from your past that made you happy. Let the thoughts flow in, now try and focus on those moments when you enjoyed doing something, it could be anything. The pivot of this exercise is those tiny activities that you don't know why but they made you calm and pep up. Next, open your eyes and write down about everything that made you happy. Make a list and put your mind to what was the best thing about these activities. Once you can find your happy list, then bang! there you are, holding a list of  your spiritual zones.

After you find your S zones make them a part of your meditation routine, that means before practicing mindfulness or meditation incorporate these activities as it lightens you, motivates you, and directs you towards your journey of further self-growth and you never know they could turn out to be true purpose of your life.
